Glassworks Northwest - Red and Yellow Burst Plant Stake - Fused Glass Garden Art

My pretty fused-glass plant stakes are a nice addition to a planter, flower pot or anywhere in the garden. They are an ever-lasting piece of happy art you can add to a bouquet of flowers, a potted plant or a gift basket. They make a great gift for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, anniversaries, birthdays, thank you, get well or "just because." Many people tell me my plant stakes are their "go-to" gift and always have a few on hand for any occasion.

Whimsical fused-glass plant stake -- a burst of color for the garden! Made with hand-cut glass and fused in a kiln. Perfect in the yard, in a flower pot or in a planter.

I make each stake myself in my home studio by designing each one, cutting the glass to size, assembling/decorating it and firing it in one of my three kilns. Often, pieces are fired multiple times to get the right look. Everything is properly annealed so the glass is strong, very shiny and durable.

I also make the metal stake by soldering the pieces and using an epoxy to attach it to the back of the glass.

Approx size: glass is 4 inches across. Stake is 16 inches.

**If you want your stake to last a long time, bring it inside if the weather gets extremely cold and/or windy!
